Kinkaku-ji Temple is famous for its gardens, land pine, and Kinkaku. As for souvenirs, I wonder if “Meika Kinkaku,” which is sold by Senbon Yujuken as a Kinkaku-ji limited confectionery, is unusual.

It is the difference between popular and common names

Kinkakuji is a general name of the official name Rokuonji, sometimes called Kinkaku. On the other hand, it is a usage that is clearly distinguished from the whole of Kinkakuji, and refers to only the three-tiered treasure-shaped structure with gold leaf in the temple, which is called Kinkaku.
